God’s Blessing, a startup DC nonprofit, partnered with a local business committed to community impact to launch the Nourish & Restore Initiative (NRI) in 2025. NRI addresses the urgent needs of displaced individuals by providing nutritious meals, clean clothing, and access to mental health and reintegration services. This holistic approach not only delivers immediate relief, but also restores dignity and creates pathways back to stability, workforce participation, and belonging. With a mission to serve 200 meals per month and a long-term vision of expanding to 5,000+ meals monthly, NRI demonstrates how collaboration between nonprofits, businesses, and communities can fuel systemic change and build a more compassionate, equitable future. Neighbors of KAUSE proudly supported this launch by introducing God’s Blessing to its first mini grant of $1,000.
